We’re thrilled to announce the launch of a groundbreaking addition to the kidsTUMove project website: the Learning Materials section! Designed as an online information hub, Learning Materials aims to empower individuals starting and offering sports activities for children with Chronic Diseases (CD) by providing concrete exercises and valuable resources.
What is Learning Materials?
Learning Materials is an online section created within the kidsTUMove Project’s Website, serving as an information center with learning and informational content. It caters to a diverse audience, including health professionals, authorities, institutions, researchers, and citizens. This section is meticulously curated to provide comprehensive support and guidance for those involved in sports activities for children with CD.
What’s Included?

Trainer Manual:
We are currently developing a Trainer Manual, which will be published in August 2024. Are you interested? Then discover the result after the release! The Trainer Manual will be a comprehensive guide designed to equip instructors with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead and advocate for the importance of sporting activities as a form of prevention, accompaniment, and rehabilitation.
The Project Behind It All:
The Learning Materials section is a testament to the collaborative efforts of the “KidsTUMove goes Europe – Cordially fit” (KTM) project partnership. This initiative supports a sustainable prevention concept tailored for chronically ill children and adolescents, emphasizing an active, healthy, and self-esteem-enhancing lifestyle. The primary focus is on providing access to sports and exercise programs for children and adolescents with CD, including those affected by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Why It Matters:
Promoting sport participation among vulnerable groups like children with CD and PTSD carries immense benefits for the European healthcare system. By addressing both the physical and psychological aspects of these conditions through sports and exercise, the project aims to mitigate long-term consequences and bolster resilience.
The launch of the Learning Materials section marks a significant milestone in the kidsTUMove project, furthering its mission to enhance the lives of children and adolescents with CD and PTSD through the power of sports and exercise. We invite you to explore this valuable resource and join us in championing a healthier, more active future for all.
Stay tuned for updates and exciting developments as we continue our journey towards a more inclusive and empowered community!
